The Beringe are a homebrewed gorila race that was made for the homebrew campaign setting I am currently DMing. The species (race) is a very noble and proud. Think it like "Planet of the Apes" meets Dungeons & Dragons. The species was made with 2014 rules, but it's easily portable 2024 if you just remove the ability bonuses. They were once all of the same tribe, but their civilizaiton evolved certain tribes began to splinter off to return to their old ways, which are the Beringe Phutoa and Beringe Arikthah. While all three are religious in their own right, both the Phutoa and Arikthah tend to cling to their old tribal cultures more than the original Beringe
